Christenson Cosmetics Incorporated is proud to present the S.A.F.E. Campaign.  Save Animals From Euthanasia. 

In the United States, alone, there are thousands of animals euthanized every year. There is no place for them to go, shelters are full and so they unknowingly await their fate, while longing for a home.

Our goal at Christenson Cosmetics, Inc. is to make lives better, and for some make life possible, for the abandonded, abused, and neglected creatures of our world. 

We will provide the following:

1.  Proper dog and pet owner training for unexpected behavior of dogs. If we can provide the proper training, fewer of these dogs will end up back at the shelter, only to be euthanized.  If we can provide more space for all of these misplaced creatures, fewer of them will be euthanized.

2. Assist in providing funds for families who will love and take care of pets, but can't afford it.  There are a lot of good people out there who simply can’t afford the cost. We'll help.

3. Where necessary, funds to contractors for building/additions, providing room/space and acceptable living conditions for animals.

4.  Tangibles, such as food, litter, bowls, etc.

5. Spay/Neuter and other verterinary care.

While we can’t save all of the animals, we can save a vast number of them.  With your help, via donations and/or purchases with Christenson Cosmetics, Inc., we can truly make a difference for many abused, neglected, and abandoned creatures of our world.  Pets In Need in Ringwood, IL is our first major "project". 

Here is how it works.

Every time you make a purchase, 10% of the sales, (excluding tax and shipping) will pay for contractors (where building/additions occur), veterinary care, food, litter, toys, and other items needed to care for abused, neglected, and abandoned animals in shelters nationwide.

• Customer makes purchase.
• 10% of the purchase funds go into an account earmarked for the SAFE campaign.  These funds come right off the top (excluding tax and shipping).
• Christenson Cosmetics Inc. purchases food, litter, and other tangibles needed, and donates these items to the shelters to care for the animals on their watch.
• When additional room is needed in these shelters, provided there are enough funds, there will be a minimum of three quotes from contractors to build, add on, or make living conditions for the animals better.  Once a contractor has been decided on, and work is underway Christenson Cosmetics distributes funds accordingly.
• At the time of service/completion, Christenson Cosmetics, Inc. cuts a check to the contractor.  These records will remain open to the public.
• Training is paid for through Christenson Cosmetics, Inc., as well.  When we hear of adoptees wanting to return animals because of behavioral problems, they will be offered training for their pooch, free of charge.  Once the training is complete, Christenson Cosmetics, Inc. will write a check to the trainer.  We hope that this will help keep animals in good homes, rather than being returned to shelters, where there isn’t enough room.

Pet owners who need financial assistance for their pets can apply via the contact us page on our website.  We just need the pet owners contact information, vet information and information on the pet.  More information will be given at that time.
